About this file

This document contains the questions and answers from the GSA FAS TTL QMAAB Industry Day meeting held on September 10, 2024. The meeting was for Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contractors and potential offerors interested in products and services under the MAS Solicitation, specifically Automotive and related Special Item Numbers (SINs).

The key details from the document include:

  • Contractors can submit their "product file" generated by the FCP application to the Contracting Officer/Contract Specialist for review prior to submitting the eMod Request. This is not a quality control step but rather to validate the changes.
  • The process for adding new products in the FCP application involves several steps, and contractors must still submit the request using eoffer/emod. Contractors are advised to consult the GSA website and MAS Modification Guide for required documentation.

GSA FAS TTL QMAAB Industry Day Questions and Answers September 10, 2024

1. Question: Can the Product File be submitted to CO/CS first for review before submitting the eMod Request?

Answer: Our Contract Specialists and Contracting Officers (CS/CO) are happy to meet with you to review your “product file” generated by the FCP application. Our review of your “product file” is not considered to be a quality control step, but rather to see if the document accurately reflects the change that you would like to make per the mod type. First prepare your “product file” via the FCP application so that your mod change can be validated and then you can contact your CO/CS for a meeting before submitting into eoffer/emod.

2. Question: What is the process for adding new products in FCP?

Answer: To submit an eMod Request - Add Products using the FCP Application, please see the following steps, and note that you will still need to submit the request using eoffer/emod.

Please also consult the GSA website and MAS Modification Guide for all of the documentation that will be required to be included with your Add Products request: https://www.gsa.gov/buy-through-us/purchasing-programs/multiple-award-schedule/help-with-mas-contracts-to-sell-to-government/requirements-after-getting-a-mas-contract/modification-and-mass-modification-guidance
