QUESTION 22
Amendment #2 answered more than 50 questions and also raised additional ones. We had requested clarifications specifically related to the information requested by the RFQ Factors and information on the SF330 and the duplication of that information. The answers regarding these clarifications are extremely critical in our response to the RFQ, specifically relative to the overall page count. We felt that if we could receive those answers by today we would be able to react and meet the September 15th submittal date. If those answers are received after today we respectfully request an extension of the submittal date to September 22nd.
Answer to Question 22 Refer to A.3., above.
QUESTION 23
With regard to the Part IV Projects form, it is stated that this form is to be used to address Design Builder Factor 3 (TAB 3.) However, the length of the form presents two issues. First, the RFQ states that there is a 1 page limit per project in this section, yet the form is 2 pages. Please clarify.
Answer to Question 23 In Amendment #2, question 34, it was states that the two page Part IV Form should be used in conjunction with the General Contractor/Design Builder Factor 3, page 9 subparagraph 2 requirements, so the project summaries are 1 page with the 2 page Part IV form and 3 page max for photos (overall 6 pages).
QUESTION 24
Second, some of the criteria requested in the Part IV form requires more space than is provided in order to completely address the request. (i.e. Design Excellence Strategies cannot be sufficiently addressed on the short line that follows it.) It is our understanding that this form is to be used as it is, but can the lines be extended to accommodate the answers? And if so, what is the page limit for the document then?
Answer to Question 24 Yes. See answer 23 above.
QUESTION 25
