1. The question has been asked before if a period of performance could be given for the seed project, likely because even a theoretical period of performance would help in estimating. o The Period of Performance for the Haines/Dalton Cache project is 274 calendar days.
2. Will all of the buildings be available to work in immediately?

17. Factor 1: Experience and Past Performance Delivering Design-Build Services, Section II.D. Technical Proposal, Past Performance – Submittal Requirement under Item #8 –Base Contract $ Value. 22. Task #05 Refurbish Bathrooms A. 2. Replace lavatory mirror and lights with a combination unit. New unit to be a 5’-0” wide by 4’-6” tall combo lighted mirror medicine cabinet. QUESTION: Can (2) Two 30” wide by 48” tall surface mounted mirrored cabinets with a 60” Light bar above be substituted for pricing? Or can you provide a manufacture and model number of a desired unit? Please advise.
o Please make a reasonable assumption. This sample project is a design-build project, which means that the government routinely releases solicitations that define the government’s general requirements, but does not explicitly specify every dimension, specification, model number, etcetera. Offerors for such design build projects are expected to be able to make reasonable assumptions for pricing such work.
23. Task #07 Exterior improvements B. 5. Attached Drawings, and Plan sheet A1.2 window sizes appear to be in conflict in size and function. IG: Page 11 of 31 B. 5. Right 1- window @ 2’8” x 3’-0” Plan detail (2) A1.2 calls a 2’0” x 3’0” vertical sliding. This should state “Single Hung”. QUESTION: Please clarify sizes as all of the existing windows appear to be standard dimensions and style. This clarification will impact pricing.
o Please make reasonable assumptions. This sample project is a design-build project, which means that the government routinely releases solicitations that define the government’s general requirements, but does not explicitly specify every dimension, specification, model number, etcetera.
