KEY DESIGN PERSONNEL

ETL: Mike Cochrane, EN-DW Geologist: Barbara Nist, EN-GG Survey Engineer; Jeff Navaille, EN-DG Specifications Engineer: James Crawford, EN-DC Cost Engineer: Rick Stallings, EN-TC Environmental Specialist: Mike Hollingsworth, PD-EQ

DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS

Project lies downstream of Cut-14/15 Station 0+00, dredge load line certification is required.

Special attention should be given to pipeline placement operations to avoid vegetation damage to the greatest extent possible.

There is an ongoing offloading contract occurring at Buck Island. The USACE contractor will need to coordinate the discharge into Buck Island in order to not impact the ongoing offloading contract held by Jaxport. Marvin Grieve (Jaxport 357-3064) is going to notify their contractor of this emergency dredging event in order to start planning for the discharge which is expected to start mid-January. The contractor can attend the site visit and begin planning coordination efforts.

SITE VISITS BY DESIGN PERSONNEL

Site visits by design personnel will be coordinated through the North Florida Area Office.
