About this file
The document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game's Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife) for candy machine parts and replacements under Statewide Contract GRO40. The procurement seeks to establish a multi-year agreement with multiple vendors to provide parts and replacements for candy machines used to dispense fish feed at hatcheries across Massachusetts. Specifically, MassWildlife's Sandwich Fish Hatchery is seeking parts for two specific machine models: the RHINO PRO METAL VENDING MACHINE (SKU: TPKRHS04MC) and the RHINO SUPREME GUMBALL MACHINE (SKU: TPKRHS04M). The RFQ requires responses to be submitted electronically via COMMBUYS by Thursday, October 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
The evaluation criteria for the quotes include cost, parts availability, warranty information, and a preference for Massachusetts-based small businesses meeting specific eligibility requirements. These requirements include having a principal place of business in Massachusetts, being in business for at least one year, employing 50 or fewer full-time equivalent employees, and having gross revenues of $15 million or less based on a three-year average. The Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game is sales tax exempt, and invoices should not include sales tax. The procurement is part of the Small Business Purchasing Program (SBPP), which aims to increase state contracting opportunities for small businesses within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
