About this file

This document is a specifications request from the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) Grain Warehouse Bureau for the printing and distribution of warehouse receipts. The document outlines detailed requirements for producing three-part warehouse receipts with specific paper specifications, including white (26 pound Defensa premium safety paper), yellow/canary (16 pound), and green (16 pound) parts, measuring 8.5 x 11 inches. The receipts must include red ink numbering, an IDALS watermark, green and red fibers, and printing on the back of the original part. Delivery is expected within industry standards, not exceeding 3 weeks on average, with receipts packaged in groups of 50 and shipped directly to the Warehouse Operator.

The pricing structure requires the printing company to provide IDALS with a comprehensive pricing list for the warehouse receipts, with shipping and sales tax to be added to the invoice. The Warehouse Operator is responsible for payment, and IDALS explicitly states it is not liable for any expenses related to ordering or shipping. The printing company may have a minimum order requirement, and any additional charges must be detailed on the pricing list. The document emphasizes administrative requirements, including providing shipping invoices with number sequences of printed and shipped receipts, and submitting a sample of the next warehouse receipt number to IDALS.
