The announcement is specifically related to RFP26-032 for a US 17/US 82 Corridor Study in Glynn County, Georgia. The study aims to analyze traffic congestion and identify operational and capacity improvements along a critical corridor extending from the Sidney Lanier Bridge to Ratcliff Road, encompassing the US 17/US 82/I-95 interchange. The corridor serves as a vital connection point for multiple trip generators, including Jekyll Island State Park, the Georgia Ports Authority's Colonels Island facility, and residential development areas. The final deliverable will be a comprehensive corridor analysis that prioritizes short-term (0-5 years) and long-term (5+ years) improvement projects to enhance safety and operational efficiency, with findings intended to support future project programming in the BATS Metropolitan Planning Organization's Transportation Improvement Program.
