Text version

Government responses to questions for solicitation 47QDCB23Q0001.

Page 13: Paragraph (I). Termination for the government’s convenience. All software purchases for Eloqua and third-party optional plugins require us to commit to at least 1 year. If the government terminates the contract, does this mean we won’t receive any payments to fulfill our commitments to pay Oracle and any additional optional plugins? If so, this clause places a significant risk on us as we will have to pay for technology for the remainder of the annual subscription.

Government Response:

If the Government terminates for convenience, then costs incurred by the contractor because of the termination will be covered by the Government (after review and approval of the costs). The Government understands that working with software and plugins require 12-month commitments, that has been the industry standard, and that would be considered an acceptable cost if the contract was terminated.

Page 17: Clause C.2.1 states This contract will have a one-year base period and two one-year option periods. But the excel sheet has a 1-year Base period plus 5 option period buildups with option periods 1 and 2 being six months each. Can you clarify what the contract periods are?

Government Response:

The Excel sheet is correct and updated and C.2.1 is incorrect for that sentence.

The Excel sheet has 1,920 hours entered. Is the government saying our quotes for all work should be no more than 1,920 hours for a calendar year?

Government Response:

The pricing sheet has been updated to include NTE 600 hours for professional service hours. See revised schedule of pricing (SIP).

Page 43 says Deliverables see Section D 5. But there appears to be no Section D 5.

Government Response:

If you search the document for D.5.2 (by pressing “ctrl F”), it will take you to the section.
