About this file
The documents represent a well drilling service proposal and a corresponding Florida state well completion report for the Glendale Fire Station Well project, involving Walton County and multiple Florida water management districts. The project entails the installation of a water well system with 231 feet of 6-inch casing, including mobilization, hole drilling, grout installation, well development, pump installation, a 300 GPM pump test, variable frequency drive (VFD) installation, chlorination system, flow meter, and a concrete pad. The work is specifically located at 13748 St Hwy 83 in DeFuniak Springs, with a completion date of April 12, 2022, and is associated with a related solar energy center well installation opportunity in Walton County.
The total project cost is $104,546.00, with itemized costs ranging from $2,000 for a concrete pad to $21,252 for casing installation. The proposal includes comprehensive warranties: a 5-year warranty on the well, a 1-year warranty on the VFD with a service fee for potential replacements, and a 3-year warranty on the pump and motor (excluding lightning damage). The well is constructed using black steel casing, reaches a total depth of 320 feet with 231 feet of casing, and is intended for landscape irrigation purposes. The static water level is measured at 100 feet, and the well was drilled by a licensed contractor, Darrell Clark, with license number 2157.
