About this file

This document is a Work Write-Up (G08) prepared by the City of Jackson, Michigan for a home repair and improvement project located at 107 Francis Ct in Jackson. The project involves two primary scopes of work: foundation wall repair and gutter replacement. Specifically, the work includes grinding and repairing approximately 500 square feet of foundation wall masonry, and installing approximately 100 linear feet of gutters and 40 linear feet of downspouts. The project is part of a 2025 municipal improvement initiative, with sealed proposals to be received through the City of Jackson's e-Procurement Portal. Contractors are encouraged to contact the homeowner to schedule property access and assess the project scope, though no pre-bid meeting is planned.

The contract opportunity emphasizes compliance with various civil rights regulations and non-discrimination standards, including federal and state civil rights acts. While specific budget details are not provided, the project appears to be a municipal-funded home improvement initiative targeting specific repair and maintenance needs. The City of Jackson is managing the procurement process, with Kari Kerstetter serving as the Purchasing Coordinator. Bidders will be required to demonstrate equal employment opportunity standards and adhere to the city's non-discrimination policies across all program activities and employment practices.
