The contractor must provide fully trained, certified personnel to conduct quarterly preventative maintenance inspections on the Combat Arms Firing Range Bullet Trap System in Building 1400, ideally scheduled for October, January, April, and July. The scope of work encompasses inspecting and servicing electrical components (voltage testing, interface functionality, enclosure cleaning), the compressor and airline system (oil level checks, air filter replacement, water condensation drainage, air dryer functionality, leak testing, and pressure verification), the bullet trap assembly (opening measurement verification to Air Force standard of 0.50-inch minimum, impact plate and deflector inspection, joint tightening, auger operation and lubrication), the dust collection unit (functionality checks, compressor servicing, photohelic set point adjustment, filter replacement), and bullet deflector repair or replacement as needed. The contractor shall provide detailed quarterly inspection reports documenting current component condition and life expectancy, replaced or adjusted items, and suggested maintenance and repair actions with detailed cost estimates for labor and materials. Performance thresholds require 100 percent on-time scheduling of quarterly inspections and timely delivery of final reports with cost estimates. The contractor must comply with Air Force records management requirements, obtain contractor badges and vehicle passes for all personnel, maintain criminal background investigation clearance, complete operational security and antiterrorism awareness training, report all labor hours via http://www.ecmra.mil, and properly dispose of all solid and hazardous waste in coordination with the 436 Civil Engineering Hazardous Waste Manager.
