About this file

This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) document for FY27 issued by the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) for the purchase of rugged laptops with mobile broadband connectivity, Havis docking stations, and vehicle mounting equipment for the Maryland State Police. The procurement seeks Dell rugged laptops configured with integrated mobile broadband capability, compatible Havis docking solutions for vehicle installation, and appropriate mounting hardware to support field operations and communications. The RFP identifies specific technical specifications and performance requirements for the computing devices and accessories to ensure compatibility with existing Maryland State Police systems and operational needs. The document outlines the evaluation criteria, submission requirements, and contractual terms governing vendor responses to this solicitation.

The procurement is structured as a firm-fixed-price contract with pricing submitted on a per-unit basis for the laptop, docking station, and vehicle mounting components. The contract will be awarded to a single vendor capable of meeting all specified technical requirements and delivery schedules. This acquisition supports the Maryland State Police's operational technology infrastructure and field communication capabilities. Award determination will be based on technical compliance, pricing competitiveness, and vendor qualifications to deliver and support the specified equipment. The contract term and any renewal options, along with specific quantity requirements and delivery timelines, are outlined within the RFP documentation to establish clear expectations for vendor performance and fulfillment obligations.
