ARC FY26

Notice of Funding

Availability (NOFA) Pre-Proposal Conference

Purpose The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), Aging and Independence Services (A&IS), serving in the capacity of the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is the recipient of funds for the region that are distributed by the State Unit on Aging

This money allows agencies who already provide services to submit proposals to receive additional funds to provide more and to leverage their own funds to make the dollars go further

Through the use of this procurement and evaluation process, ARC will fund one applicant to provide Evidence Based Health and Wellness Programs with Older American’s Act Title III-D funding for FY26

Application Process Any organization is welcome to submit a proposal for services through the NOFA process.

ARC A&IS reviews all submittals to ensure all required components are included. Next a review committee outside of ARC reviews each application based on the evaluation metrics published in the NOFA and submits their scoring to ARC A&IS staff. Based on the funding availability and the scoring, awards are made.

This application is for regional service provision and requires the applicant to provide the service across the 10 county AAA service area (Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry and Rockdale counties).

After the period for questions closes on January 6th, the only questions ARC will respond to via email are those providing technical assistance regarding the response template or the submission of the final application through the ARC website.
