About this file

This document is a Fiscal Year 2026 Scope of Work for Barber and Beauty Services at the Elisabeth Ludeman Center in Park Forest, Illinois, issued through the state's BidBuy procurement system under Bid #B-48538. The contract requires a licensed barber or cosmetologist to provide comprehensive hair care services for center residents, including haircuts, styling, scalp treatments, braiding, permanent waves, and beard trimming. Services will be delivered on an appointment basis, with a minimum of nine hours per week scheduled between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM on weekdays and 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Saturdays, with flexibility to accommodate center needs.

The contractor will be responsible for providing all non-equipment supplies, maintaining professional standards, and potentially performing services in residents' living quarters if needed. The center will provide a designated service area with necessary equipment and schedule appointments. Contractors must submit signed time registration forms twice monthly and adhere to facility regulations. The contract emphasizes professional service quality, with the center reserving the right to evaluate performance. While specific pricing is not detailed in the document, the scope suggests a service-based contract with potential for flexible scheduling and service adaptation to meet the center's resident needs.
