About this file

This is a delivery information sheet for awarded contracts at FCI Otisville, a federal correctional institution under the Bureau of Prisons. The document establishes mandatory delivery requirements and scheduling protocols for food service vendors supplying subsistence items for Fiscal Year 2026, with all deliveries required by July 31, 2026.

Vendors must coordinate all delivery appointments directly with Keith Travers (kptravers@bop.gov, 845-386-6880) or Caleb Nolan (845-386-6819) at the Food Service Warehouse. Deliveries are accepted Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm for dry goods, with frozen products delivered by 1:30 pm. All deliveries are by appointment only and will be refused without confirmed scheduling. Products must arrive palletized and accessible by pallet jack, with BOP staff prohibited from entering trailers. Temperature requirements are strictly enforced: non-frozen perishables at 34-41 degrees Fahrenheit, canned goods above 34 degrees Fahrenheit, and frozen foods at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below. No out-of-date products, side-loaded freight, or previously thawed items will be accepted. Certified religious diet items must display Kosher (OU) or Halal symbols on individual packages. All items must comply with BOP National Menu Specifications and are subject to inspection for three days, with non-conforming products picked up at vendor expense within one week or disposed of by warehouse staff. Contractor failure to meet delivery schedules or specifications will negatively impact past performance ratings.
