About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details requirements for multi-band portable Land Mobile Radios (LMR) for the 205th Regional Training Institute. The procurement calls for ruggedized, multi-frequency radios compatible with Army LMR systems, supporting VHF, UHF, and 700/800 MHz bands with Project 25 (P25) standards compliance. Key technical specifications include IP64 or higher environmental protection, FIPS 140-2 Level 3 encryption, 12-hour talk time, integrated GPS/GNSS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a color display with ergonomic design.

Each radio station must include a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, wideband antenna, belt clip/holster, desktop charger, and programming software. The contractor is required to deliver all equipment within 90 days to Building 32 at Camp Murray in Tacoma, Washington, with factory-new radios that pass QA/QC testing. Additionally, the procurement mandates a minimum 5-year warranty, operator-level training for personnel on radio operation, programming, encryption functions, and battery maintenance, with technical support for troubleshooting and warranty claims.
