About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) from the Illinois Veterans Home - Quincy for a Bi-Annual Weekly Food Order - Brand Specific or Equal contract for the period of July 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023. The RFQ lists 24 line items of various food and food-related products, including taco shells, catfish fillets, cheese, chicken, pizza sauce, dressing, seasonings, canned goods, potatoes, and other items. Vendors must bid on all line items, with pricing to include any shipping or freight charges. The quote must be submitted to Summer Prenger by the due date listed in the state's BidBuy system. No increases in pricing will be accepted, and the agency reserves the right to reject any or all offers.
Regarding pricing, the RFQ specifies that all labor must be provided by common law employees of the contract holder, not 1099 contractors. The agency also reserves the right to implement COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements beyond those in the state's executive orders. No other specific details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, or funding sources are provided.
