About this file
This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs for the purchase of a medDispense Base Unit (MDB-72-4X). The RFQ specifies the quantity, standard features, and dimensional requirements of the unit, as well as the requirement for the product to be new and carry a minimum 1-year warranty. The RFQ also outlines the submission process, which includes providing the manufacturer name and model number, as well as any additional specifications on the product. The quote must be submitted by the due date listed on the BidBuy agency website, and the winning vendor will be selected based on the low total bid for all products.
The RFQ includes pricing terms, such as the requirement for quoted prices to be valid for 90 days, the inclusion of shipping and handling charges, and the guarantee of the lowest price in the event of a price decrease. The RFQ also notes that the agency reserves the right to reject all offers, award by item or group of items, and waive minor defects. Additionally, the vendor must agree to partial ship equipment in case of a delay on the total order.
