About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs for the purchase of liquid coffee concentrate and related equipment leasing for the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy, Illinois. The RFQ is for a multi-year contract covering fiscal years 2022 through 2025, with estimated annual usage of 50-80 cases of regular coffee and 20-35 cases of decaf coffee. The RFQ includes specifications for the required coffee products, as well as the leasing of coffee machines that can accommodate 2-gallon bag-in-box containers and serve both coffee types and hot water. Vendors must provide pricing, warranty information, and agree to partial shipments in case of delays.

The RFQ outlines pricing and other commercial terms, including the requirement for all quoted prices to be valid for 180 days, include shipping and handling, and allow for price decreases. The agency reserves the right to reject all offers, award by item or group, and waive minor defects. Vendors must also comply with COVID-19 protocols as mandated by the state of Illinois. The contract will be awarded to the vendor with the lowest total bid for all required products.
