About this file

This document is an Addendum No. 1 issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Solicitation No. FWC 24/25-85C, covering the Tenoroc Archery Shelter & Restroom Pavilion project. The addendum provides clarification on the sidewalk installation, specifically addressing a bidder's question about the location of 229 linear feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalks. The sidewalk will be constructed between the existing air rifle shelter and the proposed archery shelter, requiring suitable fill dirt to maintain a level surface. All bid responses must be received by 3:00 PM (ET) on Friday, April 25, 2025, with a response received after the specified time being deemed non-compliant.

The project involves constructing an archery shelter and optional restroom pavilion at the Tenoroc Public Shooting Range in Polk County, Florida. The estimated budget is $120,000, with bidders required to be Certified General Contractors possessing current state licensing and corporate registration. Contractors must be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and with SunBiz, and for contracts over $500,000, must perform at least 15% of the work using their own employees. The procurement encourages participation by minority, women, and veteran-owned business enterprises, and recommends consideration of the State of Florida Mentor Protege Program for business development mentoring. The project has a substantial completion timeline of 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with final completion due 30 calendar days thereafter, and liquidated damages set at $50 per calendar day for delays.
