About this file
This is Addendum No. 2 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) FWC 24/25-85C issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the Tenoroc Archery Shelter & Restroom Pavilion project. The addendum updates the bid with new sidewalk plans and changes the bid opening date to May 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM ET. The project involves constructing an archery shelter and restroom pavilion at the Tenoroc Public Shooting Range, including the installation of 229 linear feet of five-foot-wide concrete sidewalk. The mandatory pre-bid conference was held on April 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM ET, with the anticipated date of intended award set for May 7, 2025. Bidders can attend the public bid opening either in-person at 1875 Orange Ave. E., Tallahassee, FL, or via teleconference.
The solicitation requires bidders to be Certified General Contractors with current state licensing and corporate registration. Contractors must be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and with SunBiz prior to bid opening. For contracts over $500,000, contractors must perform at least 15% of the work using their own employees and demonstrate successful completion of two similar projects within the last three years. The Commission has established an estimated budget of $120,000 for the project. To receive construction plans, bidders must submit a completed Confidentiality Exemption Form to the Procurement Manager. The addendum includes a form for maintaining the confidentiality of exempt information as per Florida Statutes, with provisions for potential subcontractors to maintain the exempt status of sensitive materials.
