About this file
This document is an Addendum (Addendum No. 1) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Solicitation No. FWC 25/26-17C, titled "Satellite Beach Estuarine Habitat Restoration". The solicitation requires all responses to be received no later than 3 PM (ET) on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, with a strict deadline that any responses received after the specified time will not be considered. The addendum provides critical information for potential bidders, specifically addressing questions about the project's staging area.
The addendum clarifies that a potential upland staging area has been identified near the Eau Gallie Boat Ramp at coordinates 28° 8' 10.41" N, 80° 36' 18.52" W. However, the contractor is responsible for obtaining permission to use the site, as the Eau Gallie Boat Ramp Park is owned by Brevard County Parks and Recreation, and the surrounding causeway is owned by the Florida Department of Transportation. The contractor may propose alternative staging areas subject to approval by the FWC project manager and must independently coordinate with property owners, investigate transportation logistics, and assess site access conditions.
