About this file

This Addendum 1 document, issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) on March 16, 2026, addresses questions and answers regarding Solicitation No. FWC 25/26-86 for the purchase of a 17-foot Pro-Drive boat with motor and boat trailer. The solicitation, which opened on March 9, 2026, requires all bid responses to be submitted no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The boat will be utilized by the FWC's Invasive Plant Management Section as a work vessel and must meet specific technical requirements including hull design, motor specifications, trailer compatibility, construction materials, and durability standards as outlined in the original bid documents. The contract term is one year upon issuance of the Purchase Order, with provisions for extension requests subject to Commission approval. The anticipated award date is March 30, 2026, and the award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest total bid price.

One critical clarification provided in this addendum addresses a vendor's inquiry regarding product substitution. The vendor requested confirmation that a comparable 17-foot shallow-water mud boat from SUPERFORMANCE JET BOATS LLC would be considered equivalent under "or equal" provisions. The FWC explicitly rejected this request, confirming that there will be no changes to the Scope of Work, specifications will remain as shown in the original bid, and no substitutions are allowed. Bidders must register with MyFloridaMarketPlace and the Florida SunBiz system prior to bid opening and must submit all required documentation including ITB Bidder Acknowledgement Forms, Price Sheets, references, mandatory responsive requirements documentation, subcontractor lists, and forced labor certifications. The FWC has established an estimated budget of $40,000 for this procurement, and the successful bidder must assume full responsibility for all delivery costs and damage liability, with replacement of defective or non-compliant products required within thirty days of notification.
