About this file

This is Addendum 1 to a solicitation issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the purchase of a 17' Pro-Drive boat with motor and trailer. The solicitation, designated FWC 25/26-86, was opened on March 9, 2026, and the bid response deadline is 4:00 PM Eastern Time on March 25, 2026. The boat will be utilized by the FWC's Invasive Plant Management Section as a work boat according to detailed specifications contained in the Scope of Work. Prospective vendors are required to be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) system and with SunBiz prior to the bid opening. No site visits or bidders conferences are mentioned in this addendum.

Addendum 1 addresses a Question and Answer regarding product substitutions. A bidder inquired whether an equivalent or "equal" product from a different manufacturer (Superformance Jet Boats LLC Model 17) could be submitted as a substitute for the specified Pro-Drive configuration, citing availability, warranty, pricing competitiveness, and enhanced features as advantages. The FWC responded definitively that no substitutions are allowed and the specifications will remain as shown in the bid document. No pricing information, set-asides, incumbent contractor details, or funding sources are disclosed in this addendum.
