About this file
This document is an Addendum issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Solicitation No. FWC 25/26-13, titled "Sand Pine Clearing at Chassahowitzka WMA". The addendum, dated October 22, 2025, provides clarification on bid details and specifications for sand pine clearing, with all responses due by 3:30 PM (ET) on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. The solicitation requires cutting down of all sand pines, with specific disposal instructions based on tree diameter.
The addendum addresses two key questions from potential bidders: first, the scope of sand pine removal (all sand pines, with trees two inches in diameter or greater to be removed, and smaller trees to be scattered within Unit 10B at least 30 feet from fire lines and roads); and second, disposal requirements (sand pines two inches or larger must be removed from the property using a safe and legal method chosen by the vendor). The document provides precise guidelines for vendors, ensuring clear expectations for the project's execution and removing potential ambiguity about the work requirements.
