About this file
This document is an Addendum issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Solicitation No. FWC 25/26-09C, titled "JU Building Electrical Upgrade-Phase 1 Project". The addendum, dated September 10, 2025, provides clarifications and answers to bidder questions for an electrical upgrade project. All bid responses must be received by 3:00 PM (ET) on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, with no extensions to the deadline permitted.
The addendum addresses three specific questions from potential bidders: (1) confirmation of bid bond requirements located in Exhibit 6 of the Terms & Conditions, (2) a request for details about backup power for lab equipment during power outages, which the owner declined to specify due to potential changing occupant needs, and (3) clarification on the conduit routing between the Main Distribution Panel (MDP) and the IT data rack, which will be approximately 50 feet long and run through the Communications Room. The document emphasizes that bidders should not include backup power equipment in their bid and provides specific technical details about electrical infrastructure connections.
