About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Solicitation No. FWC 24/25-39 titled "Land Management Information System ArcGIS Pro Migration and Technical Support." The addendum contains questions and answers related to the migration of existing FWC Land Management Information System database modules and customized Esri add-in tools from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro. Responses must be received no later than 3:30 PM (ET) on December 30, 2024.

The current technical environment uses ArcMap 10.8.x and ArcGIS Pro 3.2.x, with Microsoft hosted Azure DevOps as the repository. AECOM (which acquired previous vendor URS Corporation) holds the existing contract for SaMP module migration to ArcGIS Pro and technical support of AMT and TechStaff through June 30, 2025, which is separate from this scope of work. The AMT application will be developed as an ArcGIS Pro add-in, with ESRI Experience Builder having been considered but not selected. The work can be performed remotely, though occasional on-premise meetings or training may be required.

FWC SOLICITATION ADDENDUM 2

BEGIN ADDENDUM

QUESTION #1

What version of Esri are you currently using?

ANSWER #1

ArcMap 10.8.x and ArcGIS Pro 3.2.x

QUESTION #2

Are the applications married to using an ArcGIS Pro add-in or can out-of-the-box tools and

Python be used for the suite of tools?

ANSWER #2

As it stands, the AMT application would be an ArcGIS Pro add-in. We have considered

ESRI Experience Builder and chose not to go that way at this time.

QUESTION #3

Does FWC plan on switching to branch versioning?

ANSWER #3

We are currently using Microsoft hosted Azure DevOps as a repository and do not currently have plans for switching.

QUESTION #4

Is there an incumbent for the contract?

ANSWER #4

The question is unclear. There is an existing contract with AECOM for the migration of the

SaMP module to ArcGIS Pro and for technical support of the ArcMap versions of AMT and

TechStaff through June 30, 2025 which is not included in this Scope of Work for the initial year.

QUESTION #5

Do you have a list of previous vendors you would be willing to share?

ANSWER #5

URS Corporation, which was subsequently acquired by AECOM, is the only previous vendor for development, maintenance, and enhancement of the current system.

QUESTION #6

Will the work for this RFP require on-premise staffing or will you allow remote work?

FWC SOLICITATION ADDENDUM 3

ANSWER #6

There is no on-premise staffing required, thus remote work is allowed. On-premise meetings and/or training may occasionally be required.
