About this file
This document is Addendum No. 2 for Solicitation No. FWC 24/25-101 issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), addressing the "Boat Motors and Related Components - Rebid" procurement. The addendum provides clarification on pricing and quoting procedures, with all bid responses required to be submitted by 1:25 PM (ET) on Monday, August 4, 2025. The addendum addresses two specific questions from potential bidders regarding how to handle manufacturer price increases and tariffs for years beyond 2025.
The key guidance provided in the addendum focuses on pricing transparency, requiring contractors to clearly list percentage discounts, current MSRP pricing, and final charged amounts on all quotes and invoices. Contractors must use the most recently published MSRP version and provide the Contract Manager with a copy of any new MSRP version when it becomes available. This approach aims to provide clarity and flexibility in pricing for boat motors and related components, acknowledging potential market uncertainties such as manufacturer price changes and tariff fluctuations.

BEGIN ADDENDUM
QUESTION #1
How should we handle price increases at the manufacturer level that may or may not include tariffs?
ANSWER #1
Please see Answer #2
QUESTION #2
How should we quote for years beyond 2025 with the uncertainty of tariffs and
Manufacturer increases?
ANSWER #2
Please see Scope of Work Section 2.6. The Contractor shall clearly list on all quotes and invoices the percentage discount, current MSRP pricing, and the amount to be charged to the Commission after the percentage discount has been deducted from the current
MSRP. For further clarification on Section 2.6, current MSRP pricing refers to the MSRP based on the most recently published version. When a new MSRP version becomes available, the Contractor shall provide a copy of that MSRP with its publication date to the Contract Manager.
