About this file
This document is an addendum to a solicitation from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the construction of a new aluminum fishing pier on Lake Montgomery in Lake City, Florida. The addendum updates the calendar of events, including a mandatory pre-bid conference on December 13, 2023, and a bid due date of January 16, 2024 at 3:00 PM ET. The addendum also provides responses to several questions from potential bidders, including clarification on required licenses, the availability of a geotechnical report, and specifications for the steel piles and aluminum fixed dock.
The solicitation is open to certified General or Underground Utilities and Excavation Contractors. Pricing will be evaluated competitively, and the successful bidder will be required to provide galvanized steel piles. The geotechnical report has been included as part of the addendum, and potential bidders must complete a confidentiality form to receive access to the original construction plans and specifications.
