About this file

This document is an addendum to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for FWC 22/23-91 - Aluminum Catamaran Landing Craft. The addendum provides answers to written questions received regarding the solicitation. The ITB is seeking bids for an aluminum catamaran landing craft, with specific requirements for the winch and vessel construction. The responses must be received by 3:30 PM (ET) on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Failure to file a protest within the prescribed timeframe or post the required bond will constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes.

The addendum clarifies that the winch must be an electric winch capable of pulling at least 2,000 pounds onto the boat and meeting the other specifications in the Scope of Work. The FWC will not accept a monohull landing craft, even if constructed with the highest grade aluminum, and the requirement is for a catamaran style vessel. The contract opportunity is limited to the state of Florida, specifically Leon County and Tampa City.
