About this file
This document is an addendum to a solicitation (FWC 22/23-68) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Commercial Saltwater Trap Tags. The addendum provides a revised calendar of events, including the deadline for submitting questions (January 24, 2023), the anticipated response date to written questions (January 26, 2023), the sealed response due date (March 8, 2023), the public response opening (March 8, 2023), the evaluation period (March 14, 2023 to April 11, 2023), and the anticipated date of intended award (April 18, 2023). The contract will be effective for five (5) years upon receipt of the first order, with an option to renew for up to an additional five (5) years.
The addendum also provides answers to several questions from potential bidders. It confirms that FWC has an existing contract with the incumbent vendor, E.J. Brooks, DBA TydenBrooks, and that the estimated budget for the initial and renewal terms is $2,500,000. FWC has declined to extend the proposal submission deadline, stating that the current schedule will remain in effect.
