About this file
This document is an addendum to a solicitation issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for the Chassahowitzka WMA Limerock project (Solicitation No. FWC 22/23-44). The addendum provides clarification on questions related to the 72-hour notification period, delivery schedule, subcontracting, and material requirements. The solicitation seeks competitive pricing for the supply and delivery of DOT-certified crushed limerock road material to the Chassahowitzka Wildlife Management Area. Deliveries must be made Monday through Friday during business hours between 7:00 am and 2:30 pm. There is no specified minimum quantity per day, but copies of weight tickets for each load will be collected.
The contractor will be responsible for providing and delivering the limerock material and will be paid upon submission of properly certified invoices after delivery and acceptance by the Commission. No subcontracting is permitted. Vendors must be registered in the MyFloridaMarketPlace system and with SunBiz prior to the bid opening, which is scheduled for November 15, 2022 at 2:30 PM ET.

QUESTION #6
Do we need to pay for the material and do the delivery? Could you please explain to me how this works?
ANSWER #6
Yes. You are bidding to supply and deliver DOT Certified crushed limerock road material as specified in the scope of work. After contractual obligations are met then “the Contractor will be paid upon submission of properly certified invoice(s) to the Commission after delivery and acceptance of commodities or contractual services is confirmed in writing by the Commission.” We do allow vendors to submit invoices for partial payments for deliveries made during the contract period that meet the specifications.
