Item #2: Questions and Answers
Question #1: Apalachicola River WEA:
• The map shows a Lead Area in green but also four outlined areas, three of which overlap the Lead Area.
• The shapefile link included the four outlined areas only.
• Does the survey area include only the outlined portions of the Lead Area
(MK Ranch Tract, Diameter Share Tract, and Wimico Tract)? Or does it include the entire Lead Area? Also, does the survey area include the potential N Apalachicola acquisition area?
Answer #1: The survey includes only those portions included within the WEA boundary
(MK Ranch Tract, Diameter Share Tract, and Wimico Tract), not the entire http://vbs.dms.state.fl.us/vbs/main_menu
FWC 21/22-119, Addendum #2, Page 2 of 2
WEA. The survey will include the potential N Apalachicola acquisition if FWC acquires the property during the extent of the contract, including renewals.
Question #2: Chassahowitzka WMA:
• Two maps were included in the package, one showing the Zebrafinch property and one showing the Zebrafinch property in relation to the entire
WMA.
• The shapefile link included only the Zebrafinch property, but not the rest of the WMA.
• Does the survey area include only the Zebrafinch property or the entire
WMA?
Answer #2: The survey will include only the Zebrafinch property and not the entire WMA.
Question #3: Watermelon Pond WEA
• The map shows several non-adjacent parcels within a Management Area, areas Closed to Hunting, and a Gladman Tract. The title at the top of the map indicates the WEA measures 4,687 acres.
• The shapefile link included only one section of the Management Area north of the pond, which measures approximately 1,287 acres.
• Does the survey area include just the section indicated in the shapefile, or some combination of the various sections shown on the map?
Answer #3: The survey will only include the 1,287 acres in the shapefile.
Item #3: Revised Cost Sheet
Attachment D, Cost Sheet, is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with Attachment D-1, Revised Cost Sheets, attached hereto and made a part of the solicitation. Respondents must use the Revised Cost Sheets in their response.
