About this file
This is a Sole Source Justification document from the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex at Tinker Air Force Base for the repair of a Leica T-Probe used with Leica Laser Trackers for fixture calibration. The document justifies a sole source award to Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc. (CAGE: 1WUK4) as they are identified as the sole manufacturer and only known source capable of repairing the damaged probe, which is part of a CMM machine.
The justification details that market research was conducted through DSBS and SAM databases using NAICS code 811210, including searches for 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, and WOSB companies. A GSA RFQ (#RFQ1734614) was posted to 419 vendors with zero responses. The required service is specifically for B-Probe/T-Probe or Scanner Calibration/Certification under Proposal Number Q-00216166. The document indicates OBCA will continue market research to seek competitive solutions for future requirements.
