About this file

The document is a comprehensive requirements specification for a Time and Attendance System for Littleton Public Schools (LPS) in Colorado. The requirements outline a detailed electronic time tracking solution with features including multiple clock-in/out options (networked computers, mobile devices, wall-mounted time clocks, and keypad devices), real-time labor tracking, advanced time-off and leave management, overtime calculation, and substitute management capabilities. The system must integrate with existing payroll and ERP systems, provide robust reporting and analytics, support ACA and FMLA compliance, and accommodate various employee types and work schedules.

The system requirements emphasize comprehensive security and usability, including data encryption, role-based access control, SSL encryption, and compliance with federal and state privacy laws. Key technical specifications include a self-service employee portal, intuitive interface, accessibility compliance with HB21-1110, vendor-provided training, implementation support, and a web-based solution with 99.9% guaranteed uptime. The document seeks a scalable system that can handle multiple employee roles, locations, and complex payroll scenarios while providing predictive analytics for workforce planning and maintaining precise accrual and overtime calculations.
