About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) issued by the United States Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). The BPA is designed to provide a purchasing mechanism for analytical laboratory consumables and supplies for FSIS Field Service Laboratories, including the Accredited Laboratory Program and National Antimicrobial Resistance Monitoring System. The comprehensive procurement covers an extensive range of consumables and reagents, including laboratory supplies such as pipette tips, centrifuge tubes, petri plates, vials, filters, and specialized scientific equipment, as well as numerous chemical reagents, culture media, and laboratory-grade solutions.
The BPA specifies detailed delivery requirements, with contractors mandated to deliver ordered items within 7-14 calendar days to three designated FSIS laboratories in Athens, GA, St. Louis, MO, and Albany, CA. All products must comply with specific FSIS laboratory guidebook methods, and each shipment must include a Certificate of Analysis detailing product specifications. The solicitation is structured as a single-award, firm-fixed price BPA with a proposed performance period from September 29, 2025, to September 28, 2030, targeting small businesses under NAICS code 334516 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The procurement will use product/service code 6640 for Laboratory Equipment and Supplies.
