About this file

The document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) spreadsheet for Request for Proposals (RFP) FSG-RFP-2425-1019 issued by the Florida State Guard (FSG) for Aircraft Maintenance Services. The RFP seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance services for a nine-aircraft fleet consisting of UH-60A and Bell 412 helicopters, UH-1H helicopters, Cessna 206 and 425 fixed-wing aircraft, and a King Air 350 aircraft. The contract is anticipated to run from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, with potential renewal options. Key dates include a proposal submission deadline of June 20, 2025, a public opening on the same date, and an anticipated award notification on June 24, 2025.

The Q&A document reveals critical details about the contract, including maintenance expectations, operational requirements, and vendor qualifications. The current maintenance tracking system is Moderhawk, and vendors can propose new systems with FSG's agreement. The contract requires 85% operational availability, with potential contract termination for non-compliance. Maintenance will be conducted in FSG facilities, with travel reimbursed according to Florida Travel Guidelines. The estimated contract value is approximately $2,000,000, with vendors expected to provide 24/7 technical support, handle emergency maintenance, and maintain transparent maintenance tracking. The RFP encourages diversity and requires vendors to use the E-Verify system for employment eligibility verification.
