Frequently Asked Questions from CBCSE & BCTC-ES One on Ones
1. Will the Government make this effort a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small
Business (SDVOSB) or Woman Owned SB set aside?
Government Response: No; the market research results do not support a
SDVOSB or WOSB set-aside. In order to set-aside this effort for SDVOSB or
WOSB, there has to be a reasonable expectation that offers (proposals) will be obtained from at least two (2) responsible and capable SDVOSB or WOSB firms;
“capable” means relevant experience with tasks required under the BCTC-ES &
CBCSE requirements.
2. Will the Government post all the companies that attended the Industry Day?
Government Response: Yes, the Government has posted all the companies that attended Industry Day along with the Industry Day slides.
3. Will the Government release current equipment and version 9 information during the draft RFP? Will the Government release system information?
Government Response: Yes, the Government will release equipment requirements for JLCCTC v9.0 with the draft RFP.
4. How does CBCSE & BCTC-ES collaborate with the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP) contract?
Government Response: BCTC-ES does not utilize the ATMP contract for post-warranty support. CBCSE utilizes support from ATMP once the manufacturer warranty has expired.
5. Does the Government intend to provide plug in numbers/amounts (Licenses, ODCs, etc.) as done on the previous RFP?
Government Response: The Government is still developing the acquisition strategy but the Government will consider this during the process.
