11. Question: Do you have an average utility cost for the location? The solicitation indicates a bill will be provided each month for utilities.
Answer:
Utilities averaged between $150-$200 per month
12. Question: Previous Q&A requested clarification on music (which apparently is authorized if volume is low). Is a television allowed with the same conditions (i.e., volume low)?
Answer:
Again with the same conditions. Also, there is no cable at the library.
13. Question: Menu. Are there additional food items other than coffee and pastries authorized? For example, sandwiches, cupcakes, pretzels, cookies, hot dogs, ice cream, light snacks, etc.? For example, we have a self-contained, counter-top, fire department approved fryer (with ansul system). If approved and cleared by the post fire marshal, is an expansion of the menu for such items allowed within the scope of the work statement?
Answer:
Sandwiches, cupcakes, cookies, salads, etc., are fine. Not sure on the counter-top fryer (smoke/smell) in the library.
14. Question: Are there tables and chairs for the seating area or will those be required to be provided by the vendor? Those are listed in the proposed contract but did not see such items in the location.
Answer:
We will provide 4 high top tables with 3 chairs each.
15. Question: Is there a beverage contract in place with the library (i.e., Coke or Pepsi)?
Answer:
No
