About this file
This document is a Form C Pricing Request for RFP 106-23 Battery Monitor & Sensor, issued by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA). The MBTA is requesting lump sum pricing for battery monitor and sensor equipment and installation across 10 substation locations in Massachusetts. Bidders must provide pricing for labor, equipment and materials, general conditions, overhead and profit for each substation location. The MBTA requires that work be completed in a specific order starting with Lincoln Switching, with each substation required to be substantially complete before beginning the next. The MBTA reserves the right to reject any bid if one or more individual items are left blank.
The pricing terms indicate that payment will be substantially complete at 90% and final acceptance at 100%. The MBTA requires that all quoted prices be inclusive of ancillary charges such as reporting, administration, prevailing wages, bonding, transportation, and other associated costs. The total bid price is requested to be provided as a single lump sum amount.
