About this file
This document is Form 10 - Certification of Drug-Free Workplace Program issued by the State of Florida Department of Management Services for the MyFloridaNetwork-3 ITN No. DMS-24/25-260. The form outlines the requirements and preferences for businesses implementing a drug-free workplace program when bidding on state procurement opportunities. According to Florida Statute 287.087, when bids are equal in price, quality, and service, a business with a certified drug-free workplace program will be given preference in the award process.
The document details six specific requirements for establishing a drug-free workplace program, including publishing employee statements about controlled substance prohibitions, informing employees about drug abuse dangers and assistance programs, providing employees with written statements, requiring employees to notify employers of drug-related convictions, imposing sanctions or rehabilitation requirements for convicted employees, and making a good faith effort to maintain a drug-free workplace. The form provides space for a respondent's signature certifying compliance with these requirements, with a warning that false statements are punishable by law.
