About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the expansion of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime Engineering & Technical Support Directorate Product Test Center Division, Electronics Lab, Vehicle Test Platform (VTP) to acquire two force tester systems. The Electronics Product Test Center (EPTC) is required to perform battery performance lot testing (PLT) within 30 days of receipt, and this expansion is necessary due to the increased number of National Stock Numbers (NSNs) being transferred to DLA for PLT testing. The SOW specifies the equipment to be delivered, including test frames, load cells, grips, fixtures, and adapters, with delivery to the DLA Land and Maritime facility in Columbus, Ohio. The contractor must coordinate the delivery date with EPTC. The work will be performed at the DLA facility, and the contractor is responsible for shipping the equipment to the specified location.
The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice for a Force Tester System, identified as a sole-source requirement to be provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Mecmesin, through a small business dealer, RDP Corporation. A formal solicitation will be posted at a later time, and no response is required for this pre-solicitation notice.
