DEPARTMENT OF LABOR

Bureau of International Labor Affairs Funding Opportunity Announcement

FOA‐ILAB‐23‐27

Amendment One

SOLICITATION TITLE: Project to Increase Municipal Collective Action to Address Child Labor and Forced Labor in Mexico published in Grants.gov on July 12, 2023

AGENCY: Bureau of International Labor Affairs, U.S. Department of Labor

ACTION: Amendment to the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA)

EFFECTIVE DATE: November 9, 2023

SUMMARY: The Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL, or the Department), announces an increase to the availability of total costs for one (1) cooperative agreement to fund a technical assistance project in Mexico to increase locally-led actions to collectively address child labor and forced labor in targeted municipalities. This change is consistent with the provision found on page 5 of the FOA stating that USDOL reserves the right to increase the amount of an award total in the event that additional funds become available.

This amendment changes the approximate $4,000,000 total available costs to an approximate $4,455,000 in total available costs due to an increase in available non-committed funds. The locations in FOA-ILAB-23-27 affected by the changes in amounts are:

• The Executive Summary located on page 1;

• Section A. Award Type and Amount found on page 6; and

• The table found on page 8 describing application requirements.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: ILAB announced on July 12, 2023, the availability of funds and the FOA for a Project to Increase Municipal Collective Action to Address Child Labor and Forced Labor in Mexico to be awarded through a competitive process. The increase in the approximate total available costs is consistent with the provision found on page 5 of the FOA stating that USDOL reserves the right to increase the amount of an award total in the event that additional funds become available.
