About this file

This document is a Market Survey for the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) A2 issued by the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command. The survey seeks to identify industry capabilities for manufacturing 3-, 8-, and 10-Ton trucks and trailers, with multiple vehicle variants including cargo trucks, vans, tractors, wreckers, and specialized vehicles like dump trucks and load handling systems. Associated kits may include armor, arctic kits, and re-supply vehicle kits.

The market research targets a potential 10-year competitive contract beginning in FY28 through FY38, with comprehensive requirements including vehicle production, System Technical Support (STS), Maintenance Technical Representative (MTR) support, and Total Package Fielding (TPF). Interested vendors must submit electronic responses by 5:00 PM EDT on 31 July 2025 to the Contracting Officer John L. Pierce and Contract Specialist Jenna Burres, using a detailed 47-question survey that covers company capabilities, past performance, production processes, engineering expertise, logistics experience, and technical qualifications. The survey is explicitly not a solicitation and does not commit the government to any contractual agreement.
