About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs for a 28" Floor Scrubber Rider. The requested specifications include a minimum squeegee width of 28" to 37", battery power with a minimum run time of 150 minutes, solution and recovery tank capacities of 18 to 28 gallons, a forward speed between 3-4 MPH, and a brush pressure range of 70-110 lbs. The awarded vendor must provide a minimum 1-year warranty on all parts and labor. Quotes must be valid for 180 days, include shipping/handling, and the agency reserves the right to partially award the order. The winning vendor will be selected based on the lowest total bid per item.

The RFQ stipulates that vendors must comply with prevailing wage requirements and no price increases will be accepted, though the agency is guaranteed the lowest price in the event of a decrease. Evaluation criteria and award details are not provided, but the RFQ indicates the intent to award to a single vendor.
