About this file
This document is an Addendum to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) for hotel lodging and accommodations. The ITB seeks to establish contracts with up to three qualified contractors to provide these services. The addendum includes questions and answers related to the bid requirements, such as the need for redacted bid copies, certification requirements, transaction fees, email file size limits, checkout dates, room blocks, and pricing structure. The requested hotel accommodations must be located within five miles of the Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida, with a combined total of approximately 150 hotel rooms needed.
The bid pricing should be all-inclusive, covering both the unit price and total price. The state of Florida is tax-exempt. A roster of guests will be provided once available. The Department intends to issue a purchase order as the payment mechanism for the awarded contracts.
