Sources Sought Questionnaire Comprehensive Radiology Therapy Services Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Butner Sources Sought Notice 15BFAO26N00000021

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10. A single solicitation is anticipated to be issued for comprehensive hospital and physician services for inmates at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Butner, NC (hereinafter referred to as the “institution”). The Program Office of the institution has identified a need for Comprehensive Diagnostic Imaging Services to provide institution-based diagnostic imaging services which conform to community standards, and all local, state, and Federal laws and regulations applicable to the delivery of health care to members of the general public.

Manage medical record information in a manner which promotes continuity of care while observing restrictions on the release of information. Maintain open avenues of communication, facilitating the exchange of information between the contract provides and the Government regarding the contract services. The institution currently houses male inmates. Additional information about the inmate population at the institution can be found at www.bop.gov.

This Sources Sought Questionnaire is for information purposes only. The described services may or may not be included in the subsequent solicitation.

Presently, this institution is anticipating estimated quantities for the base and four-one year option periods as follows:

Pricing Methodology (Flat Monthly Rate) Offerors shall propose a single, all-inclusive flat rate per month for providing all services required for the Department. The proposed monthly rate shall encompass the full scope of services identified in the solicitation, including all labor, materials, equipment, administrative costs, and any other expenses necessary to perform the required work.

The Government intends this structure to simplify pricing and ensure consistent monthly costs.

Offerors are responsible for ensuring that their proposed monthly rate fully accounts for all anticipated services and requirements. No additional fees, surcharges, or unit-based pricing will be accepted unless specifically authorized elsewhere in the solicitation.

This pricing approach is not intended to be restrictive; offerors may propose any monthly rate they determine appropriate, provided it reflects the total cost of delivering all required services to the Department.
