About this file

This is a Specific Terms and Conditions document from the State of Alabama detailing contract requirements for Fisheries Electrical Service and Repairs. The contract establishes a 12-month term with options to extend for up to four additional 12-month periods under the same terms and conditions, requiring 30-day advance written approval from both parties for extensions. The award will be made "all or none" to the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications, with bid submissions required through the Alabamabuys supplier portal. A matrix will be used for tabulation and award at the public bid opening.

Vendors must maintain minimum liability insurance coverage of $500,000 with $250,000 per occurrence, naming the State of Alabama as certificate holder. Price escalations during the contract period must be documented and may not exceed CPI increases, requiring written approval from both parties. The bid is F.O.B. destination with freight charges included in bid prices. While exact purchase quantities are not guaranteed, orders will be placed by agencies as needed with complete shipping instructions provided. Vendors must respond to additional information requests within 5 days, and all materials and labor must meet local codes and trade practice standards.
