Is it a small system or a large/complex system? | The restaurant wet chemical fire suppression systems installed at Tyndall AFB are designed and tested to provide fire protection for commercial cooking operations covering the hood, ducts, plenum and appliances used by facility occupants. These systems operate either automatically if actuated by a detector or manually if actuated by a manual pull station. Examples of components associated with these systems consist of detectors, fusible links, nozzles, corner pulleys, pully tees, tubing and manual pull stations, etc. Design and orientation depend on facility and kitchen layout. Each facility and system manufacturer are identified in the Performance Work Statement in Appendix E. |
