About this file

This Statement of Objectives (SOO) outlines requirements for completing an Anechoic Chamber fire suppression system installation at Building 90 on Eglin Air Force Base. The existing system is already plumbed and charged with agent but requires final connection, commissioning, and training.

The contractor must connect the fire suppression control panel to building power, integrate it with the existing building alarm system, ensure HVAC damper closure before agent release, commission and program the system, conduct testing for fire marshal approval (without agent release), provide operational training and manuals, and ensure compatibility with existing hardware. Key requirements include completion within 30 days of award, 12-month warranty coverage, and compliance with UFC 3-600-1, NFPA 13, NFPA 72, and relevant NFPA codes. The work is being solicited as a small business set-aside under NAICS 561210 with quotes due by January 21, 2025, 09:00 AM CST. A site visit opportunity is available for interested contractors, with RSVP required by January 2, 2025.
